Duo MezzoPiano

Duo MezzoPiano was founded in 2014 at Stetson University in DeLand, FL. The duo is comprised of Miles Andrew Sutton, piano and Nicole Rivera-Montañez, mezzo-soprano. MezzoPiano does its best to highlight works written for voice and piano, especially those of Hispanic Composers of classical art song. They have performed together in Florida as well as in the Midwest. These performances have allowed the pair to play and perform works that come from repertoire outside of their regular work, such as musical theatre. The two have performed for such artists as Samuel Handley, David Alt, and Elizabeth Byrne.
